Behold
the Man

Viri Christi Spiritual Apprenticeship Program provides the framework for fathers and leaders to make young men strong in mind, body, and spirit.

Attain the
Full Stature of
Christ

Over three months, the Viri Christi Program shows how a rule of life helps a person to start building habits for holiness. The mission of the Viri Christi is to help young attain the โ€œFull Stature of Christโ€ (Eph. 4:13) by becoming strong in mind, body, and spirit. A young man in Viri Christi devotes himself wholeheartedly to living a life of virtue and holiness as an offering to Christ our King. We begin discuss why a man must become strong in body in order free his mind and spirit to pursue higher and more noble goods before we discuss what is means to be strong in mind and spirit.ย

Viri Christi Program

Iron Sharpens Iron

Strong formation is missing in our young men’s lives. To restore our parishes and communities we must restore men as leaders in their families, parish, and community.

The Viri Christi Program is a three-month program designed to help instructors:

  • Exercise their spiritual fatherhood and build relationships with their students.
  • Show young men concrete ways to practice their faith, form good habits, and live a rule of life.
  • Develop Catholic friendship and fraternity among students.
  • Build up men as leaders of their parish.
  • Establish a spiritual legacy that shape their entire lives.

The program consists of monthly meetings where you will pray a decade of the rosary with your students, teach an element of the faith and challenge them to develop a new habit, such as praying a Morning Offering.ย  These meetings will be supplemented by weekly podcasts that explore the monthly theme in more depth. After three months your students will not only have a deeper knowledge of the faith, but also habits to make their Catholic faith tangible and shareable as they become Men of Christ.
